Gillyan Landis dropped 21 points and
Rowan Cusack scored 13, but the Linfield women's basketball team fell 76-65 to Pacific Tuesday night at the Boxers' Stoller Center.
A freshman forward, Landis went 7 for 16 from the field and 7 for 8 from the free throw line. She just missed a double-double with nine rebounds to go with an assist and a steal. A fellow freshman, Cusack shot 5 for 11, including 3 for 6 from three-point range. Freshman guard

Elyse Waldal scored seven points.
It was the Brilie Kovaloff and Camy Aguinaldo show as the Honolulu natives scored a combined 58 points for the Boxers. Kovaloff scored a career-high 31 points, shooting 12 of 15 from the field, 3 of 5 from outside and 4 of 6 from the free throw line. She also had two rebounds, a steal and a block. Aguinaldo finished with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Aguinaldo opened the game by scoring 17 of the Boxers' 23 points in the first quarter. She finished the first half with 23 points, going 8 for 12 from the field and a perfect 5 for 5 from beyond the arc. Kovaloff scored 18 points on 7 of 9 shooting in the first half.
The Wildcats connected on 42.4 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep and 90 percent from the free throw line but still fell short. They made 50 percent of their shots in the second quarter and 57.1 percent in the third. They scored 30 points in the paint. Although Pacific controlled most of the game, the 'Cats hung in there to outscore the Boxers 33-29 in the second half.
