D3hoops.com announced their All-Region honorees on Monday morning, naming junior guard
Allie Mead to Second Team All-Region X and head coach
Casey Bunn-Wilson as the region's top Coach of the Year. The Northwest Conference's Player of the Year and First Team All-NWC honoree is the Wildcat's first since 2020, while Bunn-Wilson is the program's first All-Region Coach of the Year.

This is the 25th yearĀ D3hoops.comĀ has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 29th annual All-America selections. TheĀ D3hoops.comĀ All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.

Bunn-Wilson led the program to their first conference title in 46 seasons, notching a program record in wins with 22 and a 15-1 record against Northwest Conference opponents. In her 11th season at the helm of the program, she earned the NWC's Coach of the Year honors for the first time in her tenure. Three 'Cats earned All-NWC honors as well:
Eve Burke (First Team),
Allie Mead (First Team, Player of the Year) and
Miki Vermeulen (Second Team, Defensive Player of the Year).Ā

The Wildcats were the conference's best offense, No. 3 defense and best by winning margin with an average of 12.9 points per-game.Ā

Junior guard
Allie Mead highlighted the Wildcats on both ends of the floor in 2025-26. A now two-time First Team All-NWC honoree, Mead was the conference's Player of the Year behind 9.8 points per game, 42.6% field goal percentage, 3.5 rebounds per game and 4.4 assists per game. She led the conference with 114 total assists and boasted the best assist/turnover ratio (1.8).Ā

Mead leads on the court and inside the classroom, earning College Sports Communicator's Academic All-District honors in each of her first two seasons eligible for the honor, with hopes of being named an Academic All-American, majoring in Finance. The daughter of Melinda and John Mead, the junior earned the program's first D3hoops.com Second Team All-District honor since 2020, and just the third Wildcat to ever make an all-district team.Ā

The Wildcats set program records all season long, winning the most games overall and in the NWC (22-4, 15-1 NWC) in program history, earning their first regular season title since 1980. Women's basketball fell in the opening round of the tournament, hosting for the first time ever inside Ted Wilson Gymnasium.Ā
