Olivia McDaniel is slated to compete at the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships March 8-9 at the Reggie Lewis Center on the campus of University of Massachusetts in Boston, Mass.Â

The senior from Scappoose, Ore., has the third-best mark going into the competition with a clearance of 12 feet, 9½ inches (3.90 meters), just behind Heidi Nassos (3.93m) and Julia Dannenbaum (3.91m), both of Washington University (Mo.).Â

This will be the first indoor national championship event for the two-time NWC pole vault champion and 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships participant.

The women's pole vault final begins Friday at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
