SEATTLE, Wash. – For the second time in as many meets, Linfield newcomer
Hudson Holzhauer established a new indoor program record in the men's 35-pound weight throw. Holzhauer's heave of 53 feet, 3½ inches at the UW Indoor Preview meet on Friday surpassed his own school standard of 52-9¼ set in December at the Beat the Freeze Invite.
Other finishers at the UW Indoor Preview this weekend included
Liam Christensen and
Charles Dayton in the men's 60-meter dash. Christensen claimed 29th place in 23.57 seconds while Dayton was 30th in 23.61.
On the women's side, freshman
Isabella Grutsch earned 20th place in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles, clocking 9.34.

Linfield continues indoor competition Friday and Saturday when the Wildcats visit Moscow, Idaho, to compete in the Idaho Indoor.
