MOSCOW, Idaho --- Linfield men's and women's track continued their indoor season competing at their second Division I indoor meet in a row. First-year thrower
Hudson Holzhauer headlined the Wildcats once again, breaking his own program record in the weight throw with a heave of 16.94 meters.Â

Holzhauers throw in Friday afternoon's session earned him a fifth-place finish in the event, the highest Division III finisher, and the 30
th-best toss amongst Division III athletes nationally so far this season. Also on Friday's session, freshman
Sage Cramp placed fourth in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.30 meters, finishing just behind three athletes from Eastern Washington.

On Saturday, freshman
Isabella Grutsch earned her way into the finals of the women's 60-meter hurdles, placing eighth as the lone Division III athlete with a time of 9.20. In the field on Saturday, Holzhauer also carded a top-15 finish in the shot put, tossing a best of 13.50 meters, just ahead of his teammate
Shyson Cachuela with a 13.16 meter toss.

Grutsch also returned on Saturday in the long jump and triple jump, leading the 'Cats in each with personal bests. She placed 10
th in the long jump with a leap of 5.19 meters, while freshman
Baylie Thompson finished 14
th with 4.83 meters.Â

In the triple jump, Grutsch finished ninth with a 10.81 meter mark, a personal best and a top-60 mark in DIII.
James Bethune rounded out the Wildcats on Saturday, finishing tenth in the men's triple jump with a best of 13 meters.Â

The Wildcats continue the indoor season next Saturday, heading to Spokane, Washington, for the Inland Northwest Invitational hosted by Northwest Conference rival Whitworth.
