Eight Wildcat teams are in action this week, in the heart of crossover season, with the Fall sports seasons coming to a close and Winter teams are ready to compete. Men's and women's soccer, and volleyball host senior day this Saturday on campus, each team's final home events of the 2025 season. Men's basketball enters on the scene, travelling to Eugene to take on Bushnell before a Monday night matchup against La Verne for their home opener. Men's and women's swimming host their first home meet of the season tomorrow evening at the Linfield Pool, hosting NWC rival Pacific at 5 p.m.

SWIMMING
Wildcat men's and women's swimming are set for their first home dual meet of the season, coming off of a sweep by both teams at Willamette last weekend.
Kirsti Keppo and Rocco Veile led the two teams, with the men's team sealing the victory in the final relay event of the meet against the Bearcats. Swimming has handled the Boxers as of late, winning each of the last few matchups.Â

Linfield men's basketball gets the regular season underway this Saturday evening, taking on the Bushnell Beacons at their place. The Wildcats turn around and host their first home game of the season against the La Verne Leopards on Monday night at 4:30 p.m. inside Ted Wilson Gymnasium.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Wildcat women's soccer (8-5-5, 6-5-3 NWC) is set to face two of the bottom three teams in the Northwest Conference this weekend, one week removed from taking on the two teams tied atop the conference standings. Linfield will honor 10 Wildcat seniors at Saturday's match for their contributions to the women's soccer program over the last five seasons. To close out the season, the 'Cats head to Newberg, taking on rival George Fox on Sunday with hopes of capturing the season sweep.

Linfield football (5-2, 4-1 NWC) takes a two-game winning streak on the road this weekend, as they return to Tacoma, Washington, to face the Puget Sound Loggers who rank eighth in the conference standings with two weeks left to play. Junior quarterback
Luke McNabb enters the week as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three all-purpose touchdowns and nearly 300 all-purpose yards in a 29-21 win over Lewis & Clark at home last weekend.Â
Linfield's series with Puget Sound dates to 1924, when Puget Sound took a 55-6 win in Tacoma. Linfield leads the all-time series 37-12-1 and has won the last 34 meetings, including 62-13 in 2024 in McMinnville … the most recent game in Tacoma was Linfield's 55-6 victory in 2023 … Puget Sound's last win was in 1987 by a 21-20 score in McMinnville … the Wildcats are 18-5 against the Loggers in McMinnville and 19-7-1 in Tacoma … Linfield and Puget Sound did not play between 1947 and 1983. Before that break, Linfield was just 1-11-1 in the series; since the break ended, Linfield is 36-1 vs. UPS … Linfield lost the first 7 games of the series before gaining a 7-7 tie in Tacoma in 1936, then a 28-19 win in McMinnville in 1939 … from 2013-2015, Linfield scored at least 70 points in each game of the series, winning 79-3 in McMinnville in 2013, 73-10 in Tacoma in 2014 and 72-3 in McMinnville in 2015 … Linfield's widest margin of victory was 76 points, a 79-3 win in 2013 in McMinnville; Puget Sound's widest margin of victory was 50 points, 50-0 in in 1928 in McMinnville.
