I chose to attend Linfield for the great academics, small class sizes and being able to swim on a great team.
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU?
To me, being a student athlete at Linfield means getting to continue my education at a high level while getting to do the sport I love. 
 
HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? 
Participating in a sport has taught me perseverance, dedication, and how to be a good teammate. 
 
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS?
In 10 years, I see myself in a successful position either in marketing or education after getting an MBA or Masters of Education. 
 
WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The best class I've taken at Linfield was BNMG 481 - Promotions Management, because the professor was engaging and I got hands-on experience creating an advertising and marketing campaign for a real-world client. I learned a lot about marketing and advertising and got to see classroom skills applied in a real-world application.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? 
The greatest inspirations in my life have been my mom and dad because they are hardworking, loving, and supportive. They are always there for me and support me in everything I do, telling me I can achieve whatever I put my mind to. No matter what happens they help me get back up and see the best in life. Their passion and drive have inspired me to always do my best and put 110% into everything I do.
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...
The greatest lesson I've learned while competing in athletics has been courage, confidence, drive, and perseverance. There are going to be hurdles and obstacles life throws at you but it's how you respond that truly define you as a person and an athlete. The lessons I've learned in the pool about teamwork, drive, dedication, and determination, I will carry with me into all walks of life.

As a student-athlete, my individual goals are to have fun, enjoy the process, push myself to do better than before, and always give 110%!
