Linfield Athletics welcomes Alina Garstka to the department in July 2026, set to begin her first year as the Athletics Operations & Administrative Coordinator. 

Garstka will oversee gameday ticketing for all sports, and day-to-day administrative operations for the athletic department as part of her primary duties.

She brings outstanding organizational skills, a collaborative approach, and a servant-hearted mindset that aligns perfectly with the culture of Linfield Athletics." said Vice President and Director of Athletics, Scott Brosius.

A native of Newberg, Oregon, Garstka comes to McMinnville after one year of serving as an account executive for LEARFIELD at the University of Oregon. She holds internship experience across numerous levels of sport, spending one season as a Youth Sports & Events Intern with the City of La Crosse Parks, Recreation, & Forestry following one season as a Ticket Sales & Service Game Day Intern with the MLB's Minnesota Twins while pursuing her undergraduate degree.

As a former student-athlete, I knew I wanted to be part of an athletic department where everyone works closely together and every role has a meaningful impact. I'm excited to join such a talented administrative team and contribute behind the scenes to help make Linfield Athletics the best it can be." said Garstka. 

"I'm most looking forward to is becoming part of the Linfield community. I'm excited to build connections with our coaches, staff, alumni, and fans, but also to attend as many events as I can and support our student-athletes as they represent the university."

Currently pursuing her Masters degree in Sports Leadership online from Endicott College, she graduated from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin in 2025, double-majoring in Sports Management and Leadership and Business Administration, with a minor in Human Resources Management. While at Viterbo, Garstka competed as an outfielder on the V-Hawks Softball team for three seasons, earning CCAC, NSAA, and NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. She served as the Vice President for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in her senior year. 

Garstka currently resides in her hometown of Newberg, where she grew up playing basketball, golf, soccer, and softball. She is an avid Seattle Mariners and Oregon Ducks fan and enjoys playing pickleball and tennis.
