Fall seasons are in the books, and Winter teams look to continue non-conference action on the road this week. Last week, Football was the final Fall sport in action, claiming a 65-19 win over Willamette on senior day and Hall of Fame Weekend on campus. The Wildcats finished second in the Northwest Conference Football standings with a 7-2 overall and 6-1 record in conference play; extending "The Streak" to 69-seasons.

SWIMMING
Men's and women's swimming get the weekend started in Los Angeles, competing in their lone non-conference meet of the season, the La Verne Winter Invitational. The 'Cats aim to improve on conference-bests led by
Rocco Velie and
Kai Laitinen on the men's side, while
Kira Etheredge and
Kirsti Keppo headline the women's team. Linfield takes on a slew of teams from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, valuable experience prior to the remainder of the conference slate.
This season, the Northwest Conference championships will be held in Boise, Idaho, at the Idaho Central Aquatic Center from February 13
th to 15
th.

WRESTLING
Men's and women's wrestling are set for their second tournament of the season, heading to Spokane, Washington, for the Spokane Open this Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. The 'Cats are coming off of a two-dual week, where the men's team shutout NWC rival Pacific 53-0, later falling to Southwestern Oregon Community College on the road. Freshman
Damon Gasilos has had a strong start to the season, winning each of his dual matches last week.
Cadence Fineran and
Cassidy Jones-Mowen both competed in each dual last week, earning 1-1 records as the team fell in both duals a week ago.Â

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Linfield women's basketball is back in action, travelling to southern Texas for the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by East Texas Baptist University. The Wildcats face two opponents in the tournament, before capping off the road trip with a match up against the host, ETBU. The Tigers enter the season receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Division III Preseason Rankings.Â
The 'Cats enter the tournament with a 1-0 record, defeating the Northwest Eagles, 81-63, in last Saturday's home opener.
Allie Mead dropped a team-high 16-points, dishing eight assists, and grabbing four rebounds. Senior
Miki Vermeulen led the way with a career-high 17 boards in the game. Tabbed No. 1 in the Northwest Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, Linfield women's basketball will see how they stack up against strong competition in a tough non-conference slate.Â

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Linfield men's basketball continues non-conference play after a 12-day break, taking on Warner Pacific on Saturday evening, later heading to Claremont, California, to take on a pair of SCIAC schools next week. The Wildcats sit at 1-1 to begin the season, coming off of a 79-75 win over La Verne a pair of weeks ago inside Ted Wilson Gymnasium. Senior Dayton Magana led the team offensively, making six threes on his way to 24-points and 9-13 shooting from the field.
Nalu Vargas led the team on the glass, grabbing nine boards, while
Chase Bennett dished five assists in the game.Â
