LA GRANDE, Ore. – Linfield men's soccer scored first, but Eastern Oregon scored back-to-back goals in just over eight minutes to top the Wildcats Saturday afternoon at Community Stadium.
Freshman
Ronan Hodge notched his first collegiate goal against the Mountaineers, opening the scoring in the 19
th minute off an assist by sophomore
Cameron Gaines.
Nathan Wright scored his first goal of the season for EOU off a penalty kick in the 62
nd minute to tie the match. Edgar Perez hit the game-winner in the 70
th off an assist by Daniel Kropf. Perez, Max Rose and Carlos Murillo all finished with two shots.
Junior
Seamus Miller fired off five shots for the Wildcats, landing two on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net. Fellow junior
Sid Kosaris totaled two shots and one shot on goal.

The 'Cats (0-2-0) will continue their road trip against The College of Idaho on Monday at noon in Caldwell, Idaho. They will return home on Sept. 11 to host La Verne.
