Loggers up next for first-place and No. 13 Wildcats

SERIES PREVIEW

THE RECORDS
Linfield remains in first place at 25-7 overall and 17-3 in Northwest Conference play. Puget Sound enters the series at 4-24 overall with a 4-16 NWC mark. The Wildcats enter the week at No. 13 in the latest NFCA Division III rankings.
 
LINFIELD AT A GLANCE
The Wildcats took both ends of a doubleheader against Lewis & Clark to sweep the season series with the Pioneers. They went on to finish the week with a four-game split against Pacific Lutheran. Seven Wildcats are batting .300 or better. Kamryn Mobley leads the team with a .410 batting average and 32 runs. She is tied for the team lead with 30 RBI and four home runs. Katie Phillips is batting .387 with 46 hits and 14 doubles while Baily Paul has scored 31 times and has 18 stolen bases on 20 attempts. Tayah Kelley is 16-3 in the circle with a 1.20 ERA and an NWC-leading 157 strikeouts.

The Loggers own a .225 team batting average and a 5.17 ERA. Jessica Moore (.310) is the lone player batting above .300. She has collected 22 hits, nine runs, and eight RBI. Hana DeGuzman has 19 hits and 14 runs while Savanna Smith has driven in 12 runs to lead the team. Smith also leads the pitching staff with 66 strikeouts. Kelsie Sullivan posts a 4.13 ERA with 24 punchouts in 42 1/3 innings pitched.
