PORTLAND, Ore. –
Kamryn Mobley pounded five hits, including a grand slam home run in Game 1, powering the eighth-ranked Linfield Wildcats to an impressive sweep of the Lewis & Clark Pioneers Tuesday afternoon at the Huston Sports Complex.
Fueled by Mobley's four-run blast in the fifth inning and a two-hit shutout by Wildcats pitching ace
Tayah Kelley, the Wildcats cast aside the Pioneers in the opener, 8-0, in a game shortened to five innings by the eight-run rule.
Mobley continued her offensive assault in Game 2, turning in a 4-for-4 plate performance that included her second home run of the afternoon, also in the fifth inning.
With the road sweep, the Wildcats improved to 21-3 for the season and 13-1 the NWC. Lewis & Clark fell to 8-10 overall and 5-9 in conference action.

Abi Proffitt each had two hits to pace the Wildcats' eight-hit attack.
Kaili Saathoff got Linfield on the board in the second innings, tapping an RBI single to left field that scored Mobley.The 'Cats plated three more runs in the third with

Katie Phillips and
Claire Seats all taking turns driving home runs.
Mobley put the game out of reach with her dramatic four-run missle to left field in the fifth.
Kelley (13-0) struck out six batters on the way to her fifth complete-game shutout of the season.
Pioneers starter Cassidy Crusberg (0-3) took the loss. She gave up five hits over the first four innings before turning the game over to Kylie Hill to start the fifth.
GAME 2: Linfield 8, Lewis & Clark 2
The Wildcats led from start to finish, thanks in large part to Mobley's perfect 4-for-4 stat line. The junior third baseman added three singles to her solo home run, and stole a base, one of five by the Wildcats in the game.
Paul and
Brynn Nelson contributed two hits each. Nelson's day included a second-inning home run, her first as a collegian.
Tyler Warden (4-1) pitched the Wildcats to the victory. She scattered five hits while allowing one run and one walk during five innings of action. Reliever
Hailey Wadsworth struck out two Pioneers over the final two innings to close the game out.
Alyssa Abe took the loss in the circle for L&C. Abe (8-6) allowed nine hits over five innings of work without logging a single strikeout. Crusberg took over in the sixth, but yielded four more hits to the Wildcats.
Riley Anderson and Olivia Brackin both had two hits to lead the Pioneers at the plate.
