MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – A goal from Seamus Miller in the 84th minute gave the Linfield Wildcats the only goal they needed in the 1-0 win to beat the Pacific Boxers at the Linfield Soccer and Lacrosse Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The Wildcats are 3-4 in the Northwest Conference with one more match left this spring. The Boxers have lost two matches to the Wildcats this season and are 1-5. Linfield wins the season series, 2-1.

All six were in the starting lineup, including Perron, who is injured but played the first five minutes and was replaced by Julian Inches.

Linfield had 14 shots and nine on goal in the match, Miller had four shots that all went on goal. In the 84th minute he got a pass from Ryan Kister from across the field and kicked it past Pacific's Cole Stritzke to give the Wildcats the lead.

Miller, a freshman from Tacoma, Washington, has two goals this season, both were match-winners in 1-0 wins for Linfield. Connor Heintz, Huynh and Logan Clizer had two shots each. Stritzke stopped eight of the nine shots he faced.
