WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because I love the atmosphere. The people here are great and there is a lot to do. I come from a small town, so Linfield was perfect for me. Linfield also offers a lot of great programs, such as studying abroad and many more.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? To me, being a student-athlete means that primarily I have to strive for success in the classroom, but also on the field. I have a lot of great opportunities here at Linfield, academically and in soccer.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I grew up on Whidbey Island. I also play guitar and piano.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I plan on applying to medical school after my four years at Linfield and I think that Linfield is the perfect place for me to achieve this goal. The class sizes are small which gives me a better connection to my professors.
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I’ve taken at Linfield was Trauma Informed Care. It was really eye opening to learn about the many social issues that plague minorities in our country.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME…Fishing, snowboarding and mountain biking.
THE GREATEST LESSON I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my career was recording nine saves vs. Pacific Lutheran at home last season.
