'Cats host the Boxers on Senior Day

MATCH PREVIEW

Linfield plays its final home match of the season on Sunday against the Pacific Boxers at 3 p.m. at the Linfield Soccer and Lacrosse Complex.
 
SENIOR DAY
It's Senior Day for the 'Cats, who will honor Dayton Farrow, Brian Huynh, Ryan Kister, Luke Marks, Cam Perron, Chase Whittaker with a ceremony prior to the match.

THE WILDCATS
Linfield comes into the weekend with a record of 2-4. Linfield lost of a pair of matches against Willamette last week. The Wildcats are averaging 10.7 shots per match.
 
The Wildcats' three goals this season have been scored by Ryan Kister, Seamus Miller and Cesar Cruz-Espindola. Kister and Cruz-Espindola's goals came during Linfield's 2-0 shutout of Pacific earlier this spring.
 
Goalkeeper Julian Inches has made 18 saves, which is sixth in the NWC, and has compiled a save percentage of .750. Peyton Frazier has also made a start and made five saves in that match.
 
THE BOXERS
Pacific is 1-4 on the season. Their lone win came in overtime over the Wildcats. The Boxers have scored just one goal this season and given up 11.
 
Goalkeeper Cole Stritzke has made 16 saves and Nico Allen leads the team with six shots.
 
Sunday's meeting is the season's rubber match between the two teams. Pacific owns a 28-21-5 all-time series edge over the Wildcats.
