TACOMA, Wash. – The Linfield women's soccer team lost 1-0 at first-place Puget Sound Sunday afternoon at East Field.
Kylee Roath scored the game-winning goal in the 12
th minute off an assist by Tess Carden. Roath and Ava Cholakian finished with a match-high five shots. Cholakian had three shots on goal while Roath had two.
Freshman
Kamahie Samudio and sophomore
Ellie Friedrichsen had the Wildcats' only two shots in the match. Samudio's shot was on goal. Five 'Cats played the full 90 minutes.
Sophomore
Emma Mulligan played the entire match in goal and made seven saves. The Loggers' Chaylea Tome made one save and improved to 16-0-2 in goal on the season. She leads the Northwest Conference with a .949 save percentage, 14 shutouts and a 0.16 goals against average. She has allowed just three goals all season.

Linfield is now 3-13-2 overall and 2-11-1 in Northwest Conference play. The 'Cats will host Whitman on Saturday and Whitworth on Sunday to conclude their 2021 campaign.
