WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY? It's hard to just pick one class as my favorite here at Linfield. This past Fall I took Physical Chemistry and Biochemistry and absolutely loved them because the Chemistry department has some of the most amazing professors that challenge you but also make learning Chemistry so much! I also loved taking Vector Calculus. For some, it might sound crazy to take an extra math class for fun even though it isn’t required for your major, but for me it was one of the most beneficial classes I will probably ever take at this school. My professor made this class worth taking an 8 AM and learning about vectors. If I could take a class over again, it would be this one!
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? My parents have been the greatest inspiration in my life. They have shown me what it truly means to work hard for someone you care and are passionate about. They have always put others first before themselves. They have taught me that happiness isn’t found in materialistic things, that it is found in adventure, making the world a better place, being kind, selfless, and above all showing compassion towards others. They have inspired me to seek out the beauty of this world and be the best version of myself that I can be.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The greatest lesson I have learned while competing in athletics at Linfield has been to understand your why. Without knowing your why, you are competing and putting in time as an athlete. It can seem frustrating at times, and you might even feel lost. By having your why be the focus of your training, the work you put into being a better athlete will all come together, and you will feel happy competing.
AS A LINFIELD-STUDENT ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… As a Linfield student-athlete, my goal individually is to always challenge myself to get a little better after each practice and game. Collectively for my team, my goal is to be a team that supports each other while also pushing each other to be the best version of themselves on and off of the field.
