TACOMA, Wash. – Facing the top scoring offense in the Northwest Conference and also the best scoring defense, the Linfield Wildcats fell 1-0 to the Pacific Lutheran Lutes. Wildcats' goalkeeper

The Lutes move to 8-0 in conference play, while the Wildcats are 4-3. The loss on Saturday afternoon snaps a three-game losing streak for the Wildcats.
Pacific Lutheran converted on its first shot of the game in the eighth minute, that was the only goal by either team on the afternoon.
The Wildcats best chance to score came in the 86
th minute, when a shot by
Baylie Cameron was saved by the Lutes.
Allowing just 6.2 shots per game, the Lutes defense held the Wildcats to just three shots on the afternoon.
Sydney Kuehn and
Laney Green had the other two shots for the Wildcats.
Pacific Lutheran now leads the all-time head to head 28-22-3, Linfield is winless since 2014 in this series.
