Sat out 2018 season to focus on academics.

SOPHOMORE
Varsity letter award winner in both soccer and track.
Participated in 16 matches, starting 10.
Competed in the sprints and hurdle events.
Finished 3rd at the NWC Championships in the 400 hurdles (1:05.63).
Member of 7th place 4 x 400 m NWC Championship relay team.
 
FRESHMAN
Letter winner in soccer and track.
Participated in 21 contests, starting nine.
Finished sixth at the 2017 NWC Championships in the 400m hurdles.
Also a member of the sixth place 4 x 400m relay team at the NWC Championships.
 
SILVERTON HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered eight times in soccer and track and field.
Part of record-setting 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams.
Chosen as the Willamette Valley Conference Co-Player of the Year and All-Mid Valley Player of the Year.
First team all-state selection.
Set school records for most career assists and most goals in a match, season and career.
Soccer team captain for the Silver Foxes.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Majoring in exercise science.
Ranked number eight all-time in the 400m hurdles at Linfield.
Also competes in track & field at Linfield.
 
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the student to professor ratio and relationships, science department, allows for balanced life, and participating in multiple activities.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? I can put my academics and future first. Also, the lessons learned in athletics apply directly to education and life, especially in terms of work ethic and team efforts.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am deeply immersed in two sports, my education, and multiple jobs around campus, which include anatomy dissection team, chemistry research, and tutoring. I don't belong to a single group as I have a balance between academic, athletic, social, and personal endeavours. This relates to my life philosophy that the meaning is to participate in a grand exchange with the world and oneself in terms of health, strength, knowledge, and joy. Once shared, these four become vivacity, resilience, wisdom, and love.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I have a direction -- science and medicine, but I'm still deciding on a destination -- PA, PT, DO, MD, PhD. I am receiving education, support, and advising on finding the occupational niche for my key traits and associated talents.
