McMINNVILLLE, ORE. – Despite starting behind after a quick George Fox goal Linfield would end up dominating the rest of the game and improve to 5-7-2 and 3-5-2 in Northwest Conference play.
 
The Bruins came out quick and scored in the second minute of the game off the head of Moises Manon from the 40 -yard free kick of William Rudd. Linfield would respond in the 14^th minute when Chase Whittaker buried the ball into the back of the net off of the throw in by Connor Heintz. 
 
Neither team would score in the remainder of the first half despite chances on both sides. However, Cesar Cruz was able to find the back of the net from 15 yards out and to take the lead for the Wildcats. 
 
Linfield totaled 14 shots with four of them being on goal. George Fox totaled eight shots with five of them being on goal.
 
Nick Van Kleek was solid in the goal for the 'Cats as he picked up the win and four saves.
