WHY LINFIELD? I loved the campus and the people that I met while I was visiting the school. Linfield had the specific major that I wanted to pursue, and I am able to play on the men’s soccer team. I also come Linfield graduates in my family. Linfield was a perfect fit for me!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? While I am competitive on the pitch, I know it is equally important to have the same focus on my academics and other activities that support my future career goals.
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have a unique perspective as a student-athlete because not only do I play sports competitively, but I am also pursuing a degree in sports management. I think being an athlete myself gives me a deeper perspective than if I was just pursuing this degree academically.
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I will be pursuing a career in sports management. Linfield is one of the few schools in the Pacific Northwest that has specific major to prepare me for this career path. I will also be studying abroad this upcoming January term on a program that supports my future career interests (The Economy of Soccer in England). I am so grateful for the opportunities that Linfield is providing!
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? My favorite Linfield class was definitely my study abroad program in England, “The Economics of Football.” Professor Randy Grant is awesome and I was able to see more of the world and experience football (soccer) in a whole new way.
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHEE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My parents have been the greatest inspiration in my life. They have to taught me to be resilient in whatever I do, always give my best, and never take the easy route.
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO…Hang out with friends, playing other sports, playing video games and watching movies.
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE THAT I'VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN...To always work hard no matter what. Any team can win anytime and anyplace with the right attitude and uncompromising work ethic.
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… As an individual, my goals are to work hard and succeed in the classroom and on the field. My goal for the team is to continue growing the program into the top team in the NWC.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career thus far was our win over Willamette at home in 2018.
