Â
After a five-minute drought to begin the second, Puget Sound scored three straight goals to take their first lead of the game with 6:47 left in the half. Crist answered quickly, scoring a free position goal to tie it back up. Crist scored once again three minutes later, matched by the Loggers, to send the game into halftime tied, 7-7.
