As the calendar flips to September, Linfield fall sports are shaping up for their first taste of competition on home turf this weekend. For each sport competing this weekend, it will be the debut of the Wildcats on FloSports; and for those at home, the Linfield Sport Network on FloSports.
Last weekend, the 'Cats cross country and soccer teams began their seasons on the road, with cross country competing at the Lewis & Clark Opener, while both soccer teams travelled out of state. Women's soccer earned two draws down in Santa Cruz, California, a scoreless match against Santa Cruz, followed by a 2-2 draw against East Texas Baptist. Men's soccer took on a pair of MIAC schools, coming up short in games against Macalester and Augsburg.
