MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - Going into halftime, Linfield felt confident with a 1-0 lead after a goal from junior
Sam Haynes. Pacific opened the second-half aggressive, scoring four straight goals to beat the Wildcats 4-1 at the Linfield Soccer Complex Sunday afternoon, kicking off Northwest Conference play.
Linfield's offense was led by Haynes who added two shots to go along with his first-half goal.
Sid Kosaris contributed four more shots while
Tate Bliss finished with two. Linfield recorded 12 shots in the match.
Defensively, Linfield Goalkeeper
Colby Reese had his hands full with nine Pacific shots being on goal, saving five of them.
The Boxers four goals came from Brodie Buchert and Adam Landy each netting two.
