McMINNVILLE, Ore. – All but one of Whitman's starting lineup came across to score in a 10-3 victory over Linfield on Saturday afternoon at Roy Helser Field.
Elijah Maris powered the Linfield offense with two hits and was the only player for the Wildcats with an extra-base hit.

Wyatt Hurley each finished with an RBI.
Wyatt Hurley (0-2) was tagged with the loss and was one of seven Linfield pitchers to touch the rubber.
Mateus Conaway (1-2) was credited with the win after eight innings of work, giving up three runs, seeing 30 batters and striking out seven batters. Brandon Ting, Nate Korahais and Aj Romero all tallied two RBIs. Ting led the Blues (5-5, 4-2 NWC) with two hits.
The Wildcats' best offensive output came in the first inning where they plated three runs to take an early lead. Whitman then responded with three runs in the top of the fourth inning and four more in the sixth frame to pull ahead 7-3.
Three more runs for the Blues across the seventh and eighth innings put Whitman comfortably ahead. Rylan Burigsay pitched the final inning in the Blues win. The 'Cats compiled only two hits after the first inning and left a total of four runners stranded on base.

The Wildcats (5-6, 2-2 NWC) return to Roy Helser Field on Tuesday at 2 p.m. when they kick off a four-game series with UMass Boston.
