GAME 1: Pomona-Pitzer 8 - Linfield 7
Nearly a carbon copy from the series opener, the Wildcats stormed back from a hefty deficit but couldn't bring the tying run across as they dropped Saturday's opener.

Pomona-Pitzer's Jack Gold and Legg each hit home runs in the bottom of the third inning with Legg blasting a bases-clearing grand slam to put the Sagehens ahead 6-0. By the end of the sixth inning, the Wildcats faced an 8-2 deficit until an offensive outburst in the top of the seventh frame.

Nick Holm, Khan, and Hoskins each tallied at least one RBI and the 'Cats took advantage of two Pomona-Pitzer errors to climb back within one run. Linfield put the tying runner in scoring position in the top of the ninth, but couldn't bring it across as the Sagehens held on for the win.
