Named NWC Pitching Student-Athlete of the Week after throwing 5.2 scoreless innings against Whitman on March 12. 
Led all qualified NWC pitchers with just nine walks.

Finished third in strikeouts in Pacific Conference during 2021 season.  
Named to All-Tournament Team at the Fall National Classic, where he threw a perfect game.

WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the amazing academic programs, fantastic campus, and the welcoming atmosphere. The baseball coaching staff really welcomed me, and I felt at home right away. 
 
WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete will keep me on a positive track to success on the field and in the classroom. It will also provide structure for me to keep me motivated and driven toward achieving my goals. 
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have a twin brother headed to Oregon State next year. I have learned from a young age to cooperate and work together because of my close relationship with my brother. This translates to the field by relying on my teammates and working together to be our best. 
 
WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best class I have taken at Linfield is International Management. It gave me a great perspective of management styles and frameworks across the world. We also presented on a variety of topics that should be very applicable to my life post-grad! 
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My dad has been the greatest inspiration in my life. He gets up and works hard for my family everyday, and I strive to be like him and work hard for him as well. 
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Greatest principle that I have learned while competing is that discipline is much more important than motivation. There are many days where you are going to be sore, tired an unmotivated. But what separates you is your discipline and willingness to get your stuff done, even when you are unmotivated to do so. 
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goal individually is to have a solidified role, and perform that role to the best of my ability. For the team, my goal is to win the conference tournament and then win the National Championship. 
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is business management. Linfield will help me achieve it by giving me the tools I need to succeed. Whether it’s learning in the classroom or making connections with alumni, I'm excited about the value they will both bring.
