Wildcats cruise in win over Portland Bible

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Linfield played all of its available roster in a dominating 95-32 win over Portland Bible College on Friday night at Ted Wilson Gymnasium. Lucca Hart led the Wildcats in scoring with 15 points while Cayden Lowenbach was the only other scorer in double figures with 10. All but two Linfield players scored at least once.
 
Nick Tripaldi finished with nine points while Reece Gibb and JT Estes finished with eight. Linfield finished 50 percent from the field on 62 shot attempts and combined for nine made shots from behind the arc. The Wildcats' bench outscored the Arrows by 84-32. Linfield also finished with a significant 44-24 rebounding advantage.
 
The 'Cats defense held Portland Bible to 29 percent shooting and 11 points in the second half. Rashad Hickson led Portland Bible with nine points while teammate Tristen Armas contributed seven.
 
Cade Collins paced the Linfield scoring in the first half, totaling seven points. Nick Tripaldi and Hart each scored six. The Wildcats shot 48 percent from the field in the first half and held the Arrows to 29 percent. Linfield more than doubled Portland Bible by halftime, leading 46-21 after the first 20 minutes.
 
The Wildcats (3-5, 0-2 NWC) continued to share the wealth in the second half. Linfield improved their 48 percent shooting from the first half to over 50 percent in the second. The highest lead for the Wildcats ballooned up to 63 points.
