TACOMA, Wash. – Linfield scored the first and last goals on Saturday afternoon at Baker Field in Tacoma Wash.
Riley Omonaka's second goal on the day led the Wildcats to a massive draw with the Loggers (7-3-2, 5-1-2) at 2-2.
The Wildcats finished with eight shots, six on goal, one corner kick and three fouls.
Emilee Miller finished with five saves.
Jocelyn Jacobs tallied an assist for the Wildcats while
Anna Dazey contributed five shots.
Omonaka opened up the scoring within the first three minutes with an assist coming from Jacobs. The Loggers scored the next two in the 15th and 36th minutes from Zoe Witter and Zoe Fowler.
The Wildcats had four shots in the second half but none were bigger than Omonaka's converted penalty kick in the 81st minute that tied the match at two.
The Loggers finished with 14 shots, seven on goal, three corner kicks and 12 fouls. Goalkeeper Gianna Maldonado finished with four saves.
