McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Linfield ended its week with a 0-0 draw against visiting George Fox on Saturday afternoon at the Linfield Soccer Complex in McMinnville. The Wildcats continue to hold onto fourth place in the Northwest Conference and saw both of their matchups against the Bruins end in ties.
The Wildcats (5-3-6, 3-2-5) finished with four shots, four corner kicks and 11 fouls.
Emma Mulligan earned her first of the season and finished with four saves.
Amalia Tufts led the offense with two shots while
Sidra Griffin and
Jordan Stoner each contributed one.
Jenna Stanley led the Wildcats on minutes playing the full 90.
The two sides couldn't be separated in the first 45 minutes with both teams only seeing a handful of shots.
The second half was nearly a mirror image of the first. The two sides combined for four total shots with most of the action being played between the boxes.
George Fox (4-5-4, 2-4-3) finished with seven shots, four on goal and 11 fouls. Emily Robey faced four shots and Willa Evans led the offense with two shots on goal.
