FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The Linfield volleyball team couldn't pick up its third Northwest Conference win Wednesday night, falling in straight sets to Pacific at the Boxers' Stoller Center.
The Boxers handled the Wildcats by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-16. They racked up 60 points, 42 kills, 38 assists, 49 digs, nine aces and nine blocks. The Boxers finished with a .280 hitting percentage, which included a .324 in the first set.
Raelynn Hammock led the 'Cats with 12 kills on a .216 hitting percentage. She also had a block and seven digs.
Marina Erosa totaled four kills and six digs while
Sydney Downing put up a season-high 10 digs.
Aylea Dixon dished out 22 assists.
Mara Murphy led the Boxers with a match-high 14 kills on 33 attempts for a .242 hitting percentage. Alison Brown fell just short of double figure kills with nine. Sarah Hon had five blocks while Emily Cheavtharn tallied 36 assists.

Linfield fell to a .500 overall record at 6-6 (2-3 NWC). The 'Cats look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they host Puget Sound at 6 p.m. at Ted Wilson Gymnasium, following the Linfield-Puget Sound football game.
