WHY LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because of the small school atmosphere, surrounding people and education. I also still get to continue to play volleyball. I know Linfield has great science programs, which is something I’m passionate about. I hope to go into physical therapy.

WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means that I’ll be able to learn new things and grow as a student to work toward my future job while still being able to fulfill my dream of playing college volleyball and doing what I love.

HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a better person because they allow me to meet so many new people, which helps to grow my communication and leadership skills.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? I see myself working in sports, either as a physical therapist or an athletic trainer with a professional team.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best classes I have taken at Linfield are the science classes. I have loved all my professors, the amount of care that they have for the topic and their students.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My inspiration has been my family in my life who constantly love and support me in everything I do.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… The greatest lesson I have learned while competing in athletics at Linfield has been to have fun. Competing at this level can become a lot and bring on more pressure, so you have to find the balance.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… To just have fun together, enjoy the season while creating a good dynamic and striving to give our best for ourselves and each other.
