TACOMA, Wash. –
Emilee Miller had seven saves in Linfield's 3-0 road loss to Pacific Lutheran Sunday afternoon at East Field.
The Lutes got on the board with an Alyssa Leong goal in the 23
rd minute, assisted by Lily Dose. Hannah Cecil scored her third goal of the season in the 54
th minute off an assist by Ashlee Gormley while Jami Hughes notched her first goal of the season in the 81
st, assisted by Ellie Reardon.
The Wildcats were held to two shots, but both were on goal. The Lutes racked up 14 shots, 10 shots on goal and 10 corner kicks. The two shots came from
Janae Lewis and
Izzy Chauls.
The freshmen Lewis (81), fellow freshman
Ruby Lacktrup (90) and sophomore
Emily Hyde (90) saw significant minutes on the pitch. Senior
Makenna Blix logged 53 minutes off the bench.
Miller brings her season total to 24 saves. She's 2-3-1 with a 1.91 goals against average.

The 'Cats (2-3-1, 0-2-0 NWC) will return to McMinnville for a two-match homestand. They will host Willamette on Saturday and Lewis & Clark on Sunday, both matches starting at noon at the Linfield Soccer and Lacrosse Complex.
