FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Linfield took an early 2-0 lead in the first half, but Pacific followed with two goals of its own to force a 2-2 tie Sunday afternoon at Hanson Stadium.

Bella Hanna netted the second goal of her collegiate career in the 10
th minute while
Janae Lewis notched goal No. 5 of the season in the 24
th. Both goals were assisted by fellow freshman
Mia Curtaz, who now leads the team with five assists.
Pacific outshot Linfield 13-6 with six shots on goal. All six shots for Linfield were on goal. The Boxer defense didn't allow the Wildcats a shot in the second half, giving goalkeeper Kylie Pascual a quiet period.
The Boxers got on the board in the 38
th minute when Brooklyn Yano scored unassisted. Grace Hammermeister nailed the equalizer in the 84
th minute, also unassisted. It was her first goal of the season.
The decision handed the 'Cats their seventh tie of the season and sixth in Northwest Conference play. No overtime will be played until the postseason in 2022 due to a new change in rules.
Lewis finished tied for the match high with three shots, landing all of them on goal. Along with Hanna,
McCall Bennion and
Ruby Lacktrup also registered shots. The team's leader in minutes played with 1,392, Hanna played the full 90 minutes for the eighth straight match. She's played the entire match 12 times this season.
