'Cats look to sweep season series with Boxers, Bruins

THE RECORDS
Linfield enters the week in sixth place with 10 points, posting a 4-9-1 overall record and a 3-5-1 Northwest Conference mark. Pacific is 1-10-3 overall and 0-7-2 in NWC play while George Fox has a 0-5-3 NWC record (2-8-3 overall).

The Bruins enter the week searching for their first NWC win. They have three ties in NWC play, coming against Whitman, Whitworth and Pacific. Eugene Peltier has carried the attack with four goals on eight shots while Robert Rodarte and Kellin Aguiar have two goals apiece. Aguiar leads the team with eight shots on goal. Joshua Chang has dished out two assists to go with a goal. Cade Matsumoto has started in 13 matches, posting a 2-8-3 record with 41 saves.
 
HISTORY
Linfield and Pacific have met 58 times. The Wildcats are 23-29-6 in those matches. The 'Cats are 8-20-2 in Forest Grove. The 'Cats have won three of the last five meetings, which also includes a tie during the 2021 season. Linfield took the first meeting of 2022, winning 1-0 on Sept. 25 in McMinnville.
