WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield to play soccer at the college level. I also liked the campus and courses available.
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means that I have to be good at soccer, but more importantly it means having responsibilities.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I am unique because not many people are able to be a successful student-athlete.
 
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? All of them are great, but Spanish was the best class I’ve taken because of the fact that I am Mexican American. Touching up on the speaking and writing of the language was important to me.
 
WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? My mother has been so influential and is one of the greatest inspirations in my life for so many reasons. She has broken tooth and nail to put myself and my siblings in the position we are in today!
 
THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSION THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... A big lesson coach Duvall has taught us has been “the way you do anything is the way you do everything”. So no matter how big or small the thing you’re doing is, do it to your best ability because it will create habits. Those habits then become your character and that is so important.
 
AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goals individually are to lead the program by example in every way that I can as I am one of 4 of the most experienced within this program. Collectively we should be finishing the season with a positive record and competing for top positions in the table.
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to start a business. Linfield is helping me give me the tools and preparation I need in order to achieve it.
