NEWBERG, Ore. –
Izzy Chauls scored her first goal of the 2022 season in the second half to help Linfield force a 1-1 tie with George Fox Saturday afternoon at the Bruins' Austin Sports Complex.
Chauls notched the equalizer in the 66
th minute. She picked up the ball at the top of the box and fired it past a diving goalkeeper and into the top right corner of the net. She had two shots in 57 minutes while
Sidra Griffin led the Wildcats with three shots.
An own goal by Linfield in the 37
th minute gave George Fox its lone score of the afternoon. The Bruins amassed 13 shots, five on goal, to go with 12 corner kicks. The 'Cats finished with eight shots and seven corners.

Emilee Miller made five saves in goal. She's 2-4-3 on the year with 32 saves.
