FOREST GROVE, Ore. –
Ashley Guldager scored the game-tying goal as the Linfield women's soccer team tied with Pacific, 1-1 in double overtime, on Wednesday night at Hanson Stadium.
The senior defender scored the equalizer, unassisted, in the 50
th minute. The Boxers failed to clear a corner kick by freshman midfielder
Emily Hyde and Guldager was there for the header. It was her second goal of the season.
The Boxers scored in the 32
nd minute on a goal by Tessa Bretschieder, assisted by Mikayla Farrow. Bretschieder and Farrow both finished with two shots and one shot on goal.
The Boxers outshot the Wildcats 8-7 but four of the 'Cats' shots were on goal. The 'Cats also had eight corner kicks with six of them coming in the second half.

Kamahie Samudio led the Wildcats with two shots, both on goal. Hyde and junior defender
Megan Sweeney played the entire 110 minutes. Senior
Alyssa Bakkensen moves to 1-5-2 in goal this fall. She owns a 1.99 goals against average and leads the Northwest Conference with 6.33 saves per game.

The 'Cats move to 1-6-2 on the season with a 0-4-1 Northwest Conference mark. The tie snaps a five-match losing streak. The Boxers are now 3-4-1 overall and 1-3-1 in NWC play.
The 'Cats will finish the week at home, hosting Puget Sound at noon on Sunday at the Linfield Soccer and Lacrosse Complex.
LINFIELD COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
All individuals (age 12 and over) entering any athletics venue must provide proof of vaccination along with photo identification. Since all Linfield faculty, staff and students have completed this task in order to be on campus this fall, the Linfield individual must simply show their current Linfield ID.
Masks must be worn by all spectators at all times. Participants, including players, coaches, support staff and media on the sidelines, must wear masks throughout the duration of all athletic events, both indoor and outdoor, and during pregame and postgame activities.
