LACEY, Wash. –
Raelynn Hammock finished with a team-high in kills again, but the Linfield volleyball team fell 3-1 to Division II Saint Martin's on Tuesday night at Marcus Pavilion.
The junior outside hitter had 13 kills, nine digs, two aces and an assist. The Wildcats lost by scores of 23-25, 25-23, 13-25 and 17-25. The 'Cats finished with 43 kills, five blocks, five aces, 38 assists and 65 digs.
Junior middle blocker
Seraiah Ochse had nine kills and a .250 hitting percentage while fellow junior
Ellie Mead had eight kills and a .429 hitting percentage.
Four Wildcats finished with double digit digs. Senior outside hitter
Regan Dean and freshman defensive specialist
Paige Richards each had 15 digs while junior setter
Aylea Dixon and sophomore libero
Yssa Alcones had 11 digs apiece. Dixon also finished with a match-high 32 assists.
The Saints' Tia Allen led all players with 16 kills to go with 12 digs and a .115 hitting percentage. Emily Gooding, Gracie Brenner and Jennifer Soha all had eight kills. Mahina Pescaia had 28 assists while Giselle Benetti had 24 digs.

Linfield is 4-5 overall and 0-2 in Northwest Conference play. The 'Cats will host Whitworth at 7 p.m. on Friday and Whitman at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
LINFIELD COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
All individuals (age 12 and over) entering any athletics venue must provide proof of vaccination along with photo identification. Since all Linfield faculty, staff and students have completed this task in order to be on campus this fall, the Linfield individual must simply show their current Linfield ID.
Masks must be worn by all spectators at all times. Participants, including players, coaches, support staff and media on the sidelines, must wear masks throughout the duration of all athletic events, both indoor and outdoor, and during pregame and postgame activities.
