Linfield got off to a hot start in front of its home crowd, but The College of Idaho stormed back with three unanswered goals in the second half to down the Wildcats, 4-2, in an exhibition match on Sunday in McMinnville.

Cesar Cruz-Espindola found an opening down the middle of the field and fired in the Wildcats' second goal of the afternoon to give them the lead going into halftime.
The 'Yotes took over the game in the second half. Caio Pereira scored back-to-back goals in the 66
th and 67
th minutes, both unassisted. Ben Garrick followed with another insurance goal in the 82
nd.
The 'Yotes outshot the 'Cats 36-4 with 22 shots on goal. The Linfield goalkeepers, junior
Julian Inches and sophomore
Peyton Frazier, combined for 18 saves in the loss.
