McMINNVILLE, Ore. –
Jennifer Torres Bermudez and
Makayla Erickson set the pace for the Linfield women and
Alex Oathout was the Wildcats' frontrunner on the men's side Saturday at Michelbook Country Club, site of the 2021 Northwest Conference Cross Country Championships.

Torres Bermudez placed 18
th in 24:35 and Erickson covered the five-kilometer course in 24:53 to earn 20
th place.

A tight cluster of Wildcats finished together.
Abby Grebisz claimed 51
st place in 26:23, Kalyee Delzotti was 52
nd in 26:24,
Ashley Ambrose took 53
rd in 26:26 and Kimberly Roberts was 55
th in 26:29.

With 170 team points, Linfield finished in seventh place among nine women's programs. George Fox won the team title with 40 points, placing four runners among the top seven finishers.

Covering the eight-kilometer route, Oathout continued his excellence this fall by claiming 34
th place in 27:46.
Bradley Kiltow was close behind in 46
th place with a time of 28:11 and
Calvin Ong turned in his best performance, clocking 28:23 to place 48
th.
Calvin Cahill was 55h in 28:49,
Evan Kern took 68
th in 29:44,
Brendan Perez was 71
st in 30:34, Kai Szoatak timed 30:34 to take 72
nd and
John Christian was 73
rd in 31:00.

Linfield's men placed eighth in the team standings. George Fox was crowned men's team champion, with all five of its runners placing among the top 16 competitors.
