WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because they have a great exercise science program and great cross country and track program.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? It means being able to keep your grades up while playing sports and keeping yourself healthy, not only physically but mentally.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? Student-athletes are more well-rounded. They have a variety of friends from different groups of people and are able to multi-task between school and sports. In schooling, at least in my experience, sports keep you motivated to get things done on time and to be focused.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career interest is something in the realm of health. I want to help people become there, very best selves and with the help of Linfield's great exercise science program I will be able to achieve that goal.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? Education 305: Gen and Methods with professor Steven Bernhisel because he makes learning fun and we were able to put our teaching skills to the test.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO… Hang out with friends, go to church and be a plant mom.

THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD IS… Communication is key.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career was racing under 20 minutes (19.51) in a 5K!
