PORTLAND, Ore. –
Kamahie Samudio scored her first collegiate goal as the Linfield women's soccer team fell 3-1 at Lewis & Clark on Sunday afternoon at Griswold Stadium.
The freshman fired in the Wildcats' lone goal of the match in the 84
th minute, unassisted. Samudio and junior midfielder
Emma Sammartino finished with one shot on goal apiece, accounting for all of the team's shots.
Lewis & Clark finished with eight shots with seven shots on goal. Seven of the Pioneers' shots came in the second half.
Sophomore Brecklyn Beighle turned in a two-goal performance for the Pioneers. Beighle opened the scoring in the 49
th minute off an assist by freshman Celeste Schreifels. She struck again in the 51
st minute, unassisted, for her fourth goal of the season. Junior Sara Klott scored just 48 seconds later, assisted by junior Chloe Helenihi.
Sophomore
Emma Mulligan started in goal for the fourth straight match. She fell to 2-2-0 on the season and made four saves. Mulligan, senior

Linfield is 3-9-2 overall and 2-7-1 in Northwest Conference play. The 'Cats will hit the road for Pacific Lutheran on Saturday before returning home to host George Fox on Sunday.
