MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – Although Whitman and Linfield squared off in Maxwell Field the game was technically a home game for the Blues. This time around the Wildcats managed to score more goal than last time and allow one more, but ended with a 21-16 win.

FIRST HALF
The Wildcats got on the board first as Bethany Shade was fouled and awarded a free position opportunity where she was able to find the back of the net. Whitman responded quickly scoring back-to-back goals and took the lead. Gabriella Moe scored two goals for the Wildcats and then Nathaly Sanchez added more to give the 'Cats a 4-2 lead. The Blues cut the lead to one, but Maia Rezoski answered and put Linfield up by two once again. Back-to-back Whitman goals tied the game up at five a piece. Josie Duey then found the back of the net three straight times off of passes from Sanchez to give the 'Cats an 8-5 lead. Goals by Shade, Rezoski, and Molly Herrera put the Wildcats up by six goals. Whitman and Linfield would trade goals in the last five minutes of the half but Linfield would end the half up 13-7.

SECOND HALF
Whitman scored in the first 51 seconds of the second half. Shade then answered with two goals then Moe found Duey for her fourth goal of the game. The Blues answered with three goals of their own before Moe found the back of the net to make it 17-11.
