Duey leads the way with a career high five goals in win

SALEM, ORE. – Looking to improve to 2-3 in Northwest Conference play the Wildcats traveled to Sparks Field to take on the Bearcats of Willamette. After coming off of a loss to the Bruins just one day ago the Wildcats rallied to take down the Bearcats 18-6.

FIRST HALF
Setting the pace for Linfield was Josie Duey as she scored the first two goals of the game. Willamette managed to cut the Wildcats lead in half with a goal ten minutes into the game. Duey responded for the Wildcats however as she put Linfield back up by two goals. The Beacats managed to score two goals before the Wildcats responded with seven unanswered goals. Bethany Shade picked up four of those goals while Gabriella Moe added two, and Molly Herrera added the last goal of the seven.

SECOND HALF
Linfield picked up right where they left off as Maia Rezoski scored within the first three minutes of the second half and teammate Jenna Hessel followed shortly behind, before the Bearcats would add a goal of their own. Moe picked up her second goal of the game which was followed shortly by Duey's fourth and fifth goals of the game. Willamette managed to score two more games in the game, but Linfield added three more to their lead.
