McMINNVILLE, ORE.—On the hunt for their first Northwest Conference win, Linfield fell to Whitman.
The Blues got on the board first in the fourth minute as Peter Stephens got past the Linfield defenders and went one on one with goal keeper
Nick Van Kleek for the first goal of the game.
Linfield tied the match up in the 30
th minute when
Irvin Figueroa took a corner kick and ended up placing it perfectly into the upper right side of the goal.
The rest of the game would be dominated by Whitman however, as they would go on to score one more goal in the first half and then add three in the second half.
Linfield totaled eight shots five of which were on goal compared to Whitman's 19 shots, 11 of them which were on goal.
