McMINNVILLE, Ore. - The women's ITA Regional Championships will be held at
Linfield College starting Friday, September
28th to Monday, October 1st. Matches will be played at
Linfield College, Rutschman Field House, and Cowls Street courts.
Qualifying Tournament Friday
There are 16 players competing in the qualifying tournament, so that means 8 matches for the final 8 main draw spots. For doubles, we have 2 teams competing for 1 spot, so there will be 1 match. In order to be accommodating of class schedules, and to best enable all players to have a decent rest before Saturday, all qualifying matches (singles and doubles) will be 8 game prosets (with ad). We will play the qualifying matches at Linfield. Matches will be both outside and inside the field house. Like the rest of the tournament, singles will be played first, followed by doubles. Qualifying will begin at 5:30 pm with singles, followed by the qualifying doubles match. There are 8 spots in the main draw available. Following the singles, we will have our doubles qualifying beginning at 7 p.m.

Tournament Desk
The tournament desk will be adjacent to the tennis shed. This will be where matches are announced, and players should check in and report scores. Please have players check in prior to their match time, as we will try to get matches on early if possible.
Sites
Qualifying matches as well as the main draw matches at Linfield. We will use both our outdoor courts, as well as our indoor courts for these matches. As the draw reduces, we will play consolation matches at the fieldhouse as well. We will use the Cowls St. courts (1 mile from campus) for consolation matches. We will have a trainer (Waverly) and administrator (Maryanne Mills) on site. If you are playing at Cowls, please check in at the tournament desk there to check in and to report scores.

Trainer
A trainer on site at Linfield and on call at Cowls. If you have specific medical needs, please let
Ben Belletto know in advance, so he can connect you to our trainers ahead of time.
Tennis Balls
Teams should bring one can of balls per qualifying player/team, that would help us out and make sure we are in good shape for the tournament. Wilson is the official ball of the ITA, so we will be using Wilson tennis balls.
Consolation
There will be 1
st and 2
nd round consolation bracket for singles, and a 1
st round consolation bracket for doubles.
Rain
In the event of rain, our back-up will be the Salem Swim and Tennis Club. We have times reserved at two locations, and I will be in contact with coaches regarding the schedule. The forecast looks good as of right now. Fingers crossed.
Parking
Parking will be available for official team vehicles only, in the parking lot behind the field house. Access the lot via the driveway entrance on SE Davis St. Additional parking is available across the street from the field house (there are two lots, both are fine).
