TACOMA, WASH. – An early goal for the Lutes would be enough to top the Wildcats. Linfield looked to pick up their first win of Northwest Conference play at Pacific Lutheran on Sunday, September 16
th but were unable to respond after an early goal by PLU.
The Lutes got on the board first in the 21
st minute as Rainier Schlekewey was able to sneak one past Linfield goalie
Cameron Perron.
Linfield and Pacific Lutheran were very well matched as the two both teams both had six shots in the match. The difference maker for the Lutes was they had three shots on goal compared to the 'Cats one.
