The game schedule for Linfield's weekend baseball series with George Fox has been adjusted.
The two Northwest Conference rivals will play a single game Friday, Feb. 23, at 3 p.m. at Roy Helser Field, then complete the three-game series on Sunday, Feb. 25, with a doubleheader starting at noon.
The change is being made in order that the George Fox community may attend a memorial service on Saturday in remembrance of a former player and recent graduate who died in an accident.
Linfield enters the weekend set with a record of 7-4 and 2-1 in the NWC. George Fox stands at 9-2 and 3-0 in conference play.
