College Sports Communicators announced their annual Baseball Academic All-District honors on Tuesday morning, given to sophomore or older student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average while competing in a minimum of 90% of a team's competitions. Linfield baseball had five Wildcats selected for their hard work on the diamond and in the classroom.

Nick Holm,
Wyatt Hurley, and
Josh Mansur were honored in their final collegiate seasons, while juniors
Zack Hampson and
Jaxson Kister rounded out the Linfield representatives. Both Hampson and Holm card their second Academic All-District honors of their careers.Â

From Seattle, Washington, pitcher
Zack Hampson met the innings pitched requirement with ease, going 7-1 with five saves over 44.1 innings pitched. Hampson led the conference with his seven victories, tied for fourth in saves. His 2.23 earned run average led all qualified pitcher in the Northwest Conference. Hampson is currently majoring in journalism and media studies.Â

Holm is a finance major from Happy Valley, Oregon, earning his first All-District honor of his career. He's the son of Nichol and Lance Holm, spending each of the last four seasons as a Wildcat. The infielder boasts a career .286 batting average, having hit 24 home runs and drove in 133 runs.Â

Hurley represents Yamhill, Oregon, and is the son of Monty and Jennifer Hurley. While majoring in finance, Hurley played in 102 games in his four-year career, hitting a career-high six homers in his final season. He bounced around form first base, designated hitter, and to pitcher, appearing in 26 games with a 3-3 record and a 4.98 ERA.

In junior
Jaxson Kister's first season at Linfield, he competed in 40 games, making 37 starts, primarily in left field. Kister is the son of Jeff and Jody Kister, hailing from Junction City, Oregon. Studying exercise science, Kister hit 11 doubles and four homers while batting .238 in his first season in McMinnville after transferring from the College of Siskiyous.Â

Management major,
Josh Mansur, completed his final two seasons of collegiate baseball as a Wildcat following his transfer from Mount Hood CC. He's the son of Joanna and Jeff Mansur, recently graduating with his degree in management. In 81 career games as a Wildcat, Mansur hit .271 with seven home runs and 47 runs batted in. Tagged a utility player, Mansur spent the most of his final season in right field for the 'Cats.

Linfield baseball's first season under head coach
Jordan Harlow saw them make their return to the Northwest Conference Tournament, advancing to the title game where they fell to regular-season champion Whitworth. Harlow recorded the most conference wins since 2028, leading the Wildcats to a 24-18 overall record and 15-9 in the NWC, finishing second.
